Shopping in Santorini is colorful markets with fresh fish; old shops in caldera's back streets; and the latest continental fashions in variety of cloth stores.

But more than anything, it is an excuse to stop off at a cafe and people gaze. Shopping is a cultural window on the Island too.

Fira is liveliest area for shopping on Santorini, and at the same time , an oasis of good taste and high quality. The shops and galleries remain open till late in the evening. In the workshops , galleries and tiny shops you will find it had to resist the temptation of purchase sculptures, paintings, icons and exquisite decorative objects from all around the world.

You'll find plenty of tempting must-buys to take home. For a taste of the
